The most thermally stable and chemically resistant green pigment in Chemrad's portfolio. A polychlorinated copper phthalocyanine delivering a brilliant, clean green shade with exceptional lightfastness, outstanding acid and alkali resistance, and the highest processing temperature tolerance of any organic pigment — making it the universal choice across plastics, rubber, coatings, inks, and paints.
Chlorination of the copper phthalocyanine core increases molecular weight, reduces solubility, and dramatically improves thermal and chemical stability. The degree of chlorination (typically 14–15 chlorine atoms per molecule in PG 7) shifts the hue from the cyan-blue of unsubstituted phthalocyanine to a brilliant yellow-green — while delivering heat stability up to 300 °C, outstanding resistance to acids, alkalis, and solvents, and ISO 8 lightfastness. No other organic green pigment comes close to this combination of performance properties.

The definitive green for high-temperature plastics. Heat stability to 300 °C makes PG 7 the only organic green suitable for engineering polymers (PA, PBT) and rotational moulding. Outstanding migration resistance in PVC and polyolefins.
Excellent for tyre compounds, industrial seals, and outdoor rubber goods. Resistant to sulphur vulcanisation conditions and UV/ozone degradation, with no bleeding or migration into adjacent rubber compounds.
Outstanding exterior durability for architectural and industrial coatings. ISO 8 lightfastness ensures fade resistance on exterior walls, industrial structures, and automotive finishes for 10+ years of service life.
Strong, consistent green for flexographic, gravure, and offset inks used in packaging and commercial printing. Excellent solvent resistance prevents shade drift across different ink vehicles and printing processes.
Suitable for powder coatings, high-solid coatings, and automotive finishing where bake temperatures reach 180–200 °C. Maintains colour stability through extended curing cycles without shade shift or gloss reduction.
Widely used for colouring leather finishes and rubber goods where brilliant green shades are required. Excellent rub fastness and light stability ensure colour durability in finished leather articles and outdoor rubber applications.
Paste forms are ideal for high-quality printing inks and surface coatings. Aqueous dispersions are available for waterborne paint and paper coating systems. Custom surface treatments and particle size distributions available on request.
Registered under EU REACH regulation. Full SDS available on request for compliance and procurement documentation.
Contains no lead, cadmium, mercury, or chromium VI. Meets international packaging and automotive directives.
